InspirOn Engineering Private Limited celebrated its Golden Jubilee, marking 50 years of service to the textile industry. From humble beginnings to becoming a globally respected name in Flyer and Stenter manufacturing, InspirOn has stood tall across generations – synonymous with precision engineering, reliability, and uncompromising quality.

Radhika Bhagwati on Podium Addressing 50th Years Golden Jubilee

A journey rooted in vision

Prakash Bhagwati, Chairman, addressed customers and vendors, recalling the company’s earliest days and its guiding philosophy: engineering discipline, technological mastery, world-class quality, and long-term commitment. He emphasized that “Legacy is not built by speed, but by staying the course with integrity, precision, and purpose.”

Import substitution before it became a buzzword

Inspired by the vision of late Atul Bhagwati, then Chairman of ATE Group, InspirOn pioneered flyer manufacturing in India with German collaboration—long before Atmanirbhar Bharat became a national call. This breakthrough demanded mastery in metallurgy, precision casting, and process discipline, laying the foundation of a robust manufacturing culture.

Continuous evolution for global demands

From 1974 to 2025, InspirOn’s flyer technology advanced relentlessly. Flyers that once ran at 850 rpm now operate smoothly at 1,400 rpm, meeting global benchmarks without compromising durability. Four distinct flyer models were developed, each aligned to evolving customer needs. This progress was driven by consistent R&D investment and scientific rigor, ensuring innovation remained at the core.

Customer-centric philosophy

InspirOn’s approach has always been anchored in respect for the customer, echoing Mahatma Gandhi’s words: “A customer is not an interruption in our work; he is the purpose of it.” By aligning product development with customer feedback, especially from demanding European markets, InspirOn built enduring partnerships and global relevance.

Strategic diversification

In the mid-1990s, InspirOn diversified into Stenter manufacturing, acquiring technology from German leader Monforts. This expansion strengthened its portfolio and reinforced its commitment to serving the textile industry comprehensively.

Golden jubilee celebrations

At the Chandial Plant and later at Le Meridien Hotel, Ahmedabad, the Golden Jubilee events honored employees, customers, suppliers, and partners. Amol Bhagwati, Managing Director, emphasised that the milestone belongs to all stakeholders who journeyed with InspirOn. Radhika Bhagwati, Director, described the organization as a “social order” built on culture, values, and empathy.

Looking ahead

As InspirOn enters its next chapter, its roadmap is firmly anchored in textiles. With strong foundations in flyer and stenter technology, enhanced R&D capabilities, and deep global insights, the company is poised to support the evolving needs of spinning and processing mills worldwide.

The Golden Jubilee was not a culmination—it was a reaffirmation: that world-class textile machinery can be engineered in India, sustained over decades, and respected across continents.
