India’s first ‘World of Sleep’ expo to spotlight personalised solutions

Sleep shapes nearly a third of human life, yet its role in long-term health is often overlooked. A new initiative aims to change this conversation. World of Sleep, India’s first consumer-focused exhibition dedicated entirely to sleep, is set to debut from March 27–29, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. The platform seeks to raise awareness about the growing sleep deficit in the country and equip individuals with personalised solutions that address sleep holistically — from health concerns to home environments.

Recognised by the World Health Organisation as a global health challenge, poor sleep has become a critical concern worldwide. World of Sleep brings together knowledge, products and experiences to help consumers understand how sleep quality is influenced by factors such as medical conditions, technology, design elements and lifestyle habits.

Visitors will be able to explore live demonstration zones featuring mattresses, pillows, smart lighting, cooling systems and other essentials designed to improve rest and recovery. Expert-led workshops will delve into topics such as the impact of sleep on heart and brain health, the role of circadian rhythms and the importance of bedroom micro-environments. The exhibition will also showcase innovations in sleep technology, including monitoring tools, sleeping pods, therapy devices and tech-enabled bedding.

Dedicated wellness zones will offer guided meditation, yoga, breathwork and digital detox sessions, highlighting the link between relaxation and healthier sleep. The event caters to a wide audience — from individuals addressing sleep concerns to retailers, interior designers and brands exploring opportunities in India’s emerging sleep economy.

“Sleep is a deeply personal matter, and everyone needs personalised sleep solutions to feel truly rested and energised,” says Arun Roongta, Managing Director, World of Sleep. Texzone, known for organising HGH India, is spearheading the initiative as part of its broader expansion into consumer wellness.
