INDA announces the Filtration® 2015 International Conference & Exposition will take place at Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, November 17-19 and will focus on filter media for air and liquid filtration. The conference and expo will feature industry-leading presentations, filtration educational training, face-to-face engagement, and showcase new products on the exposition floor. The ´Pure Opportunity´ theme of the event builds on the purification function of the filter media industry which is valued at $15.4 billion in 2013 end use sales in North America and a robust 4 percent annual growth rate from 2008.

Filtration 2015 session topics will highlight Industry Intelligence, Leading Edge Technologies and Potential Solutions and Standards. Filtration market macro trends will also be discussed with business intelligence from INDA´s recently released North American Nonwovens Industry Outlook 2013-2018 Report.

Speakers from leading organisations are scheduled to present their latest developments in filter media. A few of the highlights of the conference programme are:

  • “New developments and future requirements in cabin air filtration”, MANN+HUMMEL GmbH
  • “Industrial filtration,” Blue Heaven Technologies, Inc.
  • “Filter Loading by bimodal aerosols,” University of Minnesota
  • “Relevance of nonwoven material for the removal of cryptosporidium,” General Electric
  • “PM based filter efficiencies and ratings,” Donaldson Company
  • “Electrospun nanofiber versus membrane filter media,” ELMARCO, Inc.

Back due to popular demand, INDA´s Nonwoven Filter Media Training Course will co-locate with Filtration 2015 prior to the exposition, for 1.5 days beginning, November 17 and concluding November 18. Led by Christine Sun, Ph.D., Principal, Filtration Technologies International, Inc., this training course presents an opportunity to discover the principles of filtration, market and technology trends, technologies, products, test standards, unmet needs, and the growing potential of filter media products.

Dave Rousse, INDA´s President, said, ´INDA´s sold out Nonwoven Filter Media Training Course was well-received at Filtration 2014. INDA is committed to bringing together in one place high-quality content and exhibition opportunities to advance the interests of filtration professionals. Filtration is a key growth sector within nonwovens and Filtration 2015 continues to be the most important filtration industry event in the world.´
