ILA winners to present creative concepts at Heimtextil

Winners of Interior Lifestyle Awards 2015, Anar Patel & Vandana Agarwal will be showcasing their winning collection representing the finest craftsmanship from Gujarat at the world?s most renowned Trade Fair for Home Furnishing and Textiles ? Heimtextil 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The Gujarat designer duo, Anar Patel and Vandana Agarwal are the key women behind Gramshree and have been involved in championing the cause of artisans for over a decade. Putting together the authentic stitch, design, technique and craftsmanship that is unique to the region, the designer duo presented a distinct concept of ?Collision? in Interior Designs and Home Textiles at Ambiente India & Heimtextil India trade fairs in June 2015. As part of the reward for this prestigious award, Anar & Vandana will now present their creations in front of the global design community at Heimtextil 2016. The event is slated to take place from January 12-16, 2016 with over 2,700 exhibiting companies from around the world (350 Indian companies) showcasing and forecasting new furnishing and design trends.

Entries for Interior Lifestye Awards 2016 open The organisers have now announced the call for entries of creative design and décor concepts for its next edition which will take place from 22 – 24 June 2016 alongside India?s finest home fashion business platform – Ambiente India & Heimtextil India in New Delhi.

The second grand edition will see a prestigious line up of jury members including Sunil Sethi, Chairman, Fashion Design Council of India and well-known textile and interior designers Sussanne Khan, Sabhyasachi Mukherjee and Lipika Sud. The final round will also see the faces behind the leading international platforms for Interior Décor and Home Furnishing – Ambiente & Heimtextil ? joining the jury panel.

A launch pad for Indian designers, the Interior Lifestyle Awards 2016 will provide both aspiring and experienced design professionals or companies a platform to present their most well-executed project designs and concepts in two categories: Textiles and Interior Décor. While the home textiles category will evaluate the designs and fabric based on their quality, efficacy and sustainability factors, the Interior Décor category will review entries based on functionality, modernity and intelligent engagement of design. Participants can enter simply by submitting their concepts or designs with 3D visuals or photographs of prototype latest by 28 February, 2016.
