The International Apparel Federation, together with the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India, is hosting the 32nd IAF World Fashion Convention in Mumbai (India) on September 27-28, 2016. The theme for this Convention is ‘Insights into New Opportunities’. The Convention will be held at the Trident Nariman Point Hotel.

India has one of the world’s fastest growing economies and is on a close watch by international brands, retailers and manufacturers. It serves as an excellent backdrop for this convention’s theme.

Clearly India offers many opportunities but good insights are required to capitilise them.

With action inducing debate and exchange of ideas, the convention will cover a broad range of strategic issues such as sourcing, retailing, technology and branding. Traditionally, IAF Conventions travel the globe and combine deep local insights and industry involvement with a true global outlook and a global participation of speakers and delegates. So, the convention’s speakers cast will again form a strong combination of Indian and international industry leaders from brands, retailers, manufacturers, academia and suppliers to the industry. To support the convention’s unique denim session Adriano Goldschmied has accepted to be a speaker.
