New format adds luxury hospitality focus to Heimtextil’s global fair.

Heimtextil, the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles, is expanding its global offering with a new partnership with Hospitality Interiors Europe (HINT). The collaboration introduces a dedicated platform for the hotel and high-end hospitality design sector alongside Heimtextil 2027. The two events will combine their strengths, creating synergies for exhibitors and visitors while enhancing the holistic interior design focus for architecture, interior design, hospitality, and contract sectors. HINT already features a dedicated lounge at Heimtextil 2026.

Hospitality Interiors Europe will present a parallel format at Heimtextil 2027, targeting decision-makers from interior architecture, project development, hospitality design, and extended hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts, wellness & spa, extended stay, and care facilities. The platform will feature high-end design concepts and product showcases for luxury hospitality, strengthening Heimtextil’s global interior design portfolio.

Organised by Strive Exhibitions, whose founders Toby Walters and Sam Murray launched Cruise Ship Interiors Expo, the partnership brings a strong international network and expertise in hospitality design. Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt, said, “Together with Hospitality Interiors Europe, we expand our reach in the contract business and enhance our offer: a shared space for innovative, high-end hospitality design, opening significant opportunities for architects, interior designers, and project developers.”

The platform includes a curated congress programme highlighting key trends, project developments, and international expertise, while fostering networking among planners, designers, and decision-makers. Sam Murray added, “Partnering with Heimtextil gives audiences unparalleled access to the latest products and marks the start of something special for the hospitality design sector.”

Both events benefit from shared visitor structures and programme content, offering exhibitors access to new luxury hospitality markets. Hospitality Interiors Europe will have its own lounge at Heimtextil 2026, ahead of the full-scale launch in 2027. Heimtextil 2026 runs from 13 to 16 January.
