The China Filtration Society (CFS), China Nonwovens Technology Association (CNTA) and UBM China, together with EDANA, the leading global association serving the nonwovens and related industries, announced that FILTREX® Asia 2018 will take place alongside the 10th China Filtration & Separation Exhibition / the 7th Filtration & Separation Asia (FSA) in Shanghai in November 2018 and will be co-organised by the four partners. The precise dates of the joint event, to be held in November 2018 in Shanghai, will be announced at a later stage. So far, 11 editions of FILTREX®, the EDANA conference and exhibition dedicated to the promotion of nonwoven filter media, have been held six times in Europe, once in Hong-Kong and Korea and three times in India.

The 9th China Filtration and Separation Exhibition / the 6th Filtration & Separation Asia have been jointly held successfully in Shanghai from December 7-9, 2016 with a record number of 162 exhibitors and a surface area over 10,000 m² gross.

Pierre Wiertz, GM of EDANA, stated “with such strong leading partners in China, together with CFS, we are convinced that we can elevate FILTREX® Asia to the next level, as the needs for filtration products in China and the rest of Asia are growing faster than anywhere else. Our member companies can help meeting those needs with innovative nonwoven filter media and materials across the supply chain.”

Wang Yanxi, chair of CFS and honorary chair of CNTA, added: “we are delighted to welcome EDANA, with whom we will celebrate 30 years of nonwovens cooperation during INDEX™ 17, as a new partner in our filtration events, and thereby to add the attractiveness of the FILTREX® Asia brand as a highly-reputed conference to our successful exhibition.”

While FILTREX® Asia attendees will also have access to the exhibition, additional information, education and networking opportunities will be made available through the FILTREX® conference, which will take place near the Shanghai New International Expo Center, and will commence one day before the exhibition.
