Electronics For Imaging Inc (EFI) along
with its display graphics channel partner Changyin Technology (Hangzhou) Co.
Ltd has enjoyed new equipment sales to innovative printing companies in China
in the month of July at the Shanghai International Ad & Sign event. The
event featured the worldwide debut of the new, 5-metre-wide EFI VUTEk Q5r LED
roll-to-roll printer. This printer was purchased by Shanghai Kangda Penhua Co.
Ltd, which will help in producing premium-quality graphics for retail,
production applications, and decor. This is by far, EFI’s fastest roll-to-roll
printer, which operates at a speed of 672 square metres per hour, and is
supposed to bring important competitive advantages to Shanghai Kangda Penhua.

Kangda Penhua Co. Ltd, the company has been a loyal customer of EFI since 2012
and has several EFI printers. The company is always looking to invest in the
latest and best printing technology and that’s why it has invested in VUTEk Q5r
because of its high speed and premium colour quality. He feels that these
factors will give the company a competitive advantage.
During the tradeshow, Shanghai BoEn Ad Co.
Ltd also showed its interest to invest in state-of-the-art Innovation. It
committed to an EFI VUTEk Q5 because it will help to boost the digital graphics
production offerings of the company. According to Wenhao Fan, General Manager,
Shanghai BoEn Ad Co, the company is confident that VUTEk Q5r will help in
boosting the production efficiency and will help the company to offer high
quality and value-added solutions to our customers.
Additionally, Jiangsu Baicheng Digital Film
Co., Ltd and LC Group also purchased the EFI VUTEk h5 hybrid UV LED printer at
the Tradeshow. It is also seen that Changing Technology and EFI are delivering
a new EFI VUTEk 5r+ roll-to-roll printer to another business. The VUTEk 5r+
printer will deliver premium imaging with high ink coverage, offer high colour
density, and a wide colour gamut. It also offers many in-line finishing
capabilities, just like the VUTEk Q5r. It is also designed in such a way that
it offers options that can help in increasing the overall throughput for
high-value display graphics work.
According to Rodd Harrison, Vice President
of sales, Asia Pacific, EFI, the company felt humbled by the number of
visitors that visited the stand. The company is also excited about the new
relationships which will further help to grow the business.
