As per Burt A.
Capel, Vice president and General Manager of fibres, Eastman, the importance of
sustainability and circularity is increasing and these have become the key
factors to adopt sustainable fibres. This is the prime reason as to why Naia cellulosic filament yarn is becoming popular
among the customers. He added that the vision of the company is to make
sustainable fashion accessible to all and for this the entire team is working
actively at the Barcelona site. The company wishes to serve its customers
across the globe. The company is increasing its capacity to produce Naia
filament yarn and might reach 30% by mid 2021 at its Barcelona site.

It is believed
that there is a growing demand for sustainable fibres in women’s fashion wear.
With this expansion, the company wishes to support this area as well. The brand
feels that the demand for sustainable fibres has led to a growth of Naia in the
textile segments.
