The global dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres was valued at USD 120.8 million in 2013 and is likely to reach USD 204.3 million growing at a CAGR of 7.8% between 2014 and 2020. The global dyestuff (black colour) demand for nylon textile fibres stood at 45.6 kilo tons in 2013, according to a new market report titled ´Dyestuff (Black colour) Market – Global Industry Analysis, Size, Share, Growth, Trends and Forecast, 2014 – 2020 released by the Transparency Market Research. Dyestuff (black colour) is utilised for colouring a broad range of nylon textile fibres such as monofilament fibres, staple fibres and multifilament fibres. Nylon staple fibre is the most widely used type of nylon fibre. Therefore, it was the largest product segment of the global dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres, accounting for over 48 per cent of the total market revenue in 2013. A wide range of textiles manufactured from these black coloured nylon textile fibres are employed in end-user industries such as home textiles, apparels, automotive textiles and agricultural textiles. Nylon fibres are primarily used in the manufacture of different varieties of apparels. Therefore, apparels emerged as the largest end-user segment of the global dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres, constituting over 45 per cent of the total market revenue in 2013.

Staple fibres segment is anticipated to be the fastest growing product segment of the dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres in the next few years. Nylon staple fibres can be easily blended with other fibres. Therefore, demand for staple fibres is estimated to increase in the near future. Subsequently, demand for dyestuff (black colour) in the staple fibre segment is projected to rise in the next six years. Furthermore, other end-users segment, which includes automotive textiles, agricultural textiles and protective clothing, is likely to be the fastest growing end-user segment of the dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres in the next few years. Asia Pacific dominated the dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres, accounting for over 59 per cent of the total market revenue in 2013. Rising demand for automotive and agricultural textiles is expected to drive the dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres in Asia Pacific in the near future. RoW is anticipated to be the fastest growing region in the dyestuff (black colour) market for nylon textile fibres.
