Dr Mahapatra pens new book

Dr NN Mahapatra of Colorant Ltd has penned a new book titled ´Textiles and Environment´. The book has been written in accordance to the author´s personal experience while he was working in big corporate companies as general manager of the dye house. The author has put all the doubts into this book which will become handy for ever dyeing technician. He has tried to introduce new processes and technology having eco-friendly behaviour in a simplified manner. The chapters are devoted to sustainable aspects required for the industry. It will be helpful to the CEOs, R&D, and textile industry persons.

Dr Mahapatra is having 30 years of experience in textile industries in India and abroad. He has worked in all big textile houses like Birla, Reliance, Raymond (Kenya), etc. In the year 2007, he was awarded C Col FSDC (UK) and C Text F.T.I. (Manchester). In the year 2008, he was awarded the F.T.A. from the Textile Association of India and F.I.C. from the Institution of Chemists, Kolkata. In the year 2009, he was awarded the F.I.E. from the Institution of Engineers (India).
