Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment (Doosan) has announced the launch of three new engines that comply with the off-road Stage IV emissions standards. Martin Knoetgen, President EMEA at Doosan, made the announcement at the latest annual Bobcat convention held at its factory in Dobris, Czech Republic.
The engine range includes three engines, D18, D24 and D34, all of which do not require the use of a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The D34 model has a 3.4-litre, four cylinder, 100-hp engine that uses Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to reduce emissions. The engines will be developed in South Korea and are expected to be distributed in the beginning of 2015 to some of Bobcat´s Stage IV machines.
