Dharashiv to host Maharashtra’s first technical textile park

Preliminary development works of this park has already commenced.

India’s first technical textile park in the western state of Maharashtra is being established in Kaudgaon, located in the Dharashiv (formerly Osmanabad) district. Spread across 308 acre, the park is coming up within the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) complex at Kaudgaon, with an allocated budget of Rs 1.18 million. Preliminary development work has already commenced.

The Maharashtra government announced that over 150 medium and small-scale industries will be set up in the Tamlwadi Industrial Area of the district. In addition, industrial zones are being planned in the Shiradhon-Kalamb Industrial Area, while employment opportunities are being expanded in the Siddheshwar-Vadgaon Industrial Area.
