Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh, announced that his government would intensify efforts to promote industrialisation. He emphasised that the state’s prosperity hinges on the advancement of its industries, and the establishment of these industries leads to the growth of employment opportunities. Yadav, speaking after inaugurating Sagar Group’s SMPL-integrated textile industry unit in Tamot village of Raisen district, stated, “The state government is dedicated to achieving comprehensive development, fostering good governance, and implementing an effective system.”
He further expressed the commitment to aggressively promote industries and assured industrialists of all possible assistance in setting up their units. Yadav highlighted the continuous efforts of the state government to generate employment for the youth by promoting industries. He added, “My government is striving to make industries self-reliant, profitable, and employment-generating.” According to a government statement, the newly inaugurated unit is expected to generate 3,500 jobs.
The event was attended by Minister of State Narendra Shivaji Patel, Vidisha MP Ramakant Bhargava, Bhojpur MLA Surendra Patwa, and Sanchi MLA Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary. Sagar Group chairman Sudhir Kumar Agrawal mentioned that the fabric produced at this unit would be exported to more than 20 countries.
