CITI launches InnoTex 2018

As you are aware, Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) being one of the leading industry chambers of the textile and clothing sector of India, represents the major leading regional and industry associations and 17 major corporate members, thus, covering the entire textile value chain from farm to garments and made-ups and the textile machinery industry. CITI has signed MoUs with seven major countries for the promotion of textiles trade and investment. CITI, directly and indirectly, serves an industry that connects to millions of farmers, 100 million plus workforce and 1.3 billion consumers. The cumulative annual turnover of CITI members is around $30 billion ie, Rs 2 lakh crore plus.
CITI has launched “InnoTex 2018” for the first time in the history of Indian Textile & Clothing – an Innovation Contest in Design, Method, Process, Cost & Product in any of the textile related Sector like Ginning, Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Processing, Garmenting and Technical Textiles. 
To make the InnoTex 2018 a grand success, CITI has requested all the textile-related companies to disseminate the above information among their member mills/regional associations and the textile colleges in their regions about InnoTex 2018 in every possible manner so that the Innovators in every nook and corner of the country can take part in this contest and get an invaluable opportunity to make their innovation/work recognised among the stakeholders of the textile and clothing sector.
