In 2014, the export of the textile industry in Jiangxi Province in China maintained fast growth. Besides, according to another report, the intention of cotton-growing in China will go downward in 2015, expanding 7.5 percentage points compared to 2014. A survey conducted in January on 95 counties, 98 towns, 313 villages and 2,742 cotton growers shows that 41.4 per cent of them will keep the same growing area as in last year, down 20.4 percentage points from a year ago;

China´s textile industry is drawing up the ´13th Five-year Plan of Textile Industry´ and the draft of which will be finished in the first half of this year, Li Jincai, director of China Textile Planning Institute of Construction said recently.

Yet another report says that Hengfeng Group based in Dezhou, Shandong Province and Sichuan-based YibinSiliya Group Ltd. recently signed an agreement on building the 1-million-spindle spinning project in Pingshan County, Sichuan Province in the next five years with a total investment of CNY 2 billion.
