CCI to organise COTTON USA seminar on Sept 29

The Cotton Council International is organising an invitation-only seminar on September 29 at Trident, Mumbai, which will offer useful insights on the present scenario of cotton and cotton textile industry in India. It will bring together experts from each segment of the supply chain to discuss raw material planning in today’s dynamic consumer environment.
Bruce Atherley, Executive Director, Cotton Council International, will present how the COTTON USA team is dedicated in promoting cotton worldwide. BK Patodia, Chairman, GTN Textiles Group, will give the keynote address. Ashish Jhalani, founder Member, E-tailing India, will present on e-commerce and Indian fashion.
Marc Lewkowitz, President and CEO, Supima, will provide an update on his organisation’s programmes, as well as a preview of the upcoming harvest for American ELS cotton. Scott Sindelar, Minister Counselor, FAS, USDA, will address the key features of Indo-US trade highlighting the US contribution to India’s trade in terms of Imports and exports, share of textiles in India’s exports to US as a key category.
Harminder Sahni, MD, Wazir Advisors, is presenting on the global textile and clothing demand and its impact on the fibre consumption.
