Swiss-based Sanitized, which develops antimicrobial fabric finishes, has received a Swiss Technology Award for its newly developed ´Pluma´ Technology, an anti-adhesive hygiene treatment for textiles which draws on medical engineering techniques and the formation of a thin film of water on textiles to inhibit odour-causing bacteria.
