Armes Maini launches Vertimag

Two of the leading brands in material handling and storage solutions, Ferretto Group from Italy and Maini group from India, joined hands in 2007 to form Armes Maini Storage Systems Pvt Ltd. Operating from India, the company provides end-to-end solutions pertaining to racks, mezzanines and automatic storage solutions.

Armes Maini, now forays into offering next level of automatic storage solutions with the launch of Vertimag-« in April´ 2014. Vertimag-« is an automated storage system having a modular design that works on a ´goods to man´ principle. It consists of two sides of racks where metal containers served by a lift device are located. It is an ideal solution for handling materials of every size, weight and dimensions. Vertimag has a considerable vertical extension and as an option is designed to have more than one work station on the same machine. The launch event witnessed the presence of luminaries from diverse industry verticals. Senior representatives of Amazon Reseller Services, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, Bosch India, Schneider Electric and ABB Ltd were also present at the launch event. Franco Renato from Ferretto Group commenting on the launch said, ´The availability of European designed products at competitive price points will bring significant benefits to customers in India-´.

Sandeep Kumar Maini, Chairman, Maini Group commented, ´The market in India will experience and look forward to the introduction of new technologies which will provide increased levels of productivity, reliability, and significant increase in operational efficiency.-´

Vertimag-« has been projected and implemented according the safety requirements of rules and of the European standards in force such as Machine directive, Electromagnetic compatibility, Low voltage directive, to the corresponding national laws and conformity to rules for general machine safety standards. With the wide choice of models, configurations and often unique product specifications Vertimag-« from Armes Maini will be able to increasingly respond to the demands of the growing Indian markets across all industries.
