Global kidswear brand debuts through a dedicated retail format

Apparel Group has marked the entry of Levi’s Kids into the Indian market with the launch of its first exclusive store at Lakeshore Mall, Hyderabad. The opening represents a key development in Apparel Group’s partnership with Levi Strauss & Co., bringing the globally recognised childrenswear label to India through a standalone retail presence.

The debut comes at a time when Indian parents are increasingly seeking international brands that combine quality, durability and contemporary style for their children. Levi’s Kids positions itself as a differentiated offering in the premium kidswear segment, backed by the legacy and trust associated with the Levi’s brand worldwide. The Hyderabad store introduces consumers to a dedicated Levi’s Kids environment designed to appeal to both children and families.

Conceptualised as a family-friendly shopping destination, the store blends Levi’s heritage with modern design elements to create an engaging retail experience. The collection caters to children aged 4 to 16 years and features a curated mix of denim staples and everyday essentials. Staying true to Levi’s American design codes, the range emphasises comfort, durability and functionality suited to active lifestyles, while also reflecting contemporary fashion sensibilities.

Abhishek Bajpai, Chief Executive Officer – Apparel Group India, said, “The introduction of Levi’s Kids marks an exciting milestone in our journey of bringing world-class brands and value-driven retail experiences to Indian consumers. Premium kids wear is a high-potential category, and Levi’s – backed by its heritage, trust, and universal appeal, is uniquely positioned to lead it. We look forward to building a strong and enduring footprint for Levi’s Kids in India.”

Located in a prime zone of Lakeshore Mall, the Hyderabad store also serves as a reference model for future expansion. Apparel Group plans a phased rollout of Levi’s Kids stores across major metros and fast-growing urban centres. With this launch, the company further strengthens its presence in India’s fashion retail landscape, reinforcing its strategy of scaling global brands through local market expertise.
