Studio Heritage Living launches to advise global home textile sourcing

New firm offers upstream sourcing and product strategy for brands.

Studio Heritage Living (SHL), a strategic sourcing and product development advisory firm, has officially launched with the aim of helping global home textile brands and retailers navigate evolving sourcing challenges with greater clarity and precision.

Headquartered in Mumbai, SHL has been founded by Disha Shah, an industry professional with over two decades of experience across key global manufacturing regions including China, Turkey, Portugal, Egypt and Bangladesh. The firm will work closely with brands and retailers to build smarter and more resilient supply chains amid rising geopolitical uncertainties, shifting tariffs and changing country-level cost dynamics.

Unlike conventional sourcing companies or buying houses that primarily focus on execution, SHL positions itself as an upstream advisory partner. The firm supports leadership and product development teams at the early decision-making stage, focusing on product viability, sourcing country selection, vendor alignment and cost architecture.

SHL said this approach ensures that products are not only developed for design and quality but are also structured for scalability, margin optimisation and long-term sustainability. With supply chain risks becoming increasingly complex, SHL aims to improve cost visibility and reduce downstream disruptions by enabling clients to develop multi-country sourcing strategies and stronger supplier frameworks.

The firm’s advisory model is delivered through structured 6 to 10-week programmes designed to equip internal teams with execution-ready frameworks and clear sourcing direction.

Commenting on the launch, Disha Shah, Founder, Studio Heritage Living, said, “In an increasingly volatile global sourcing environment, the biggest advantage lies in making the right decisions before production begins. Studio Heritage Living is built to bring that strategic clarity, helping brands move from reactive execution to proactive, well-informed sourcing.”

With its advisory-first model, SHL aims to redefine how home textile companies approach sourcing, shifting the focus from transactional processes to strategy-driven decision-making and long-term value creation.
