Manomay Tex India expands capacity, pushes cleaner production
Denim exporter sharpens focus on scale and sustainability.
Manomay Tex India, the Rajasthan-based textiles and denim exporter, is intensifying its efforts toward capacity expansion and cleaner production as part of its long-term sustainable growth strategy. The company, headquartered in Bhilwara, is strengthening its presence across domestic and international markets by combining manufacturing advancements with targeted sustainability measures, said Yogesh Laddha, CEO and Managing Director.
Laddha noted that Manomay’s growth approach is anchored in innovation, technical capabilities and continuous improvement in production efficiency. As demand for responsibly produced textiles rises globally, the company is prioritising initiatives that reduce environmental impact while improving output. This includes investing in modern equipment, adopting resource-efficient processes and exploring technologies that support low-emission manufacturing.
As part of its current expansion plan, the company has installed 864 additional spindles, a move expected to significantly enhance yarn production capacity. The added spindle capacity will help Manomay meet rising demand from garment manufacturers and global denim brands looking for reliable, quality-driven suppliers.
The company’s sustainability roadmap includes cleaner production systems, optimisation of water and chemical usage and the integration of energy-efficient machinery. These steps, Laddha said, align with international buyers’ expectations and India’s broader push towards greener textile manufacturing.
Manomay Tex India already exports a substantial share of its denim output to key global markets, and the enhanced production capability is expected to strengthen its competitiveness. The company is also working to broaden its domestic customer base by offering products with improved performance, reduced environmental footprint and consistent quality.
With ongoing expansions and sustainability-focused investments, Manomay aims to reinforce its position as a modern, responsible and globally aligned denim manufacturer.
