Shrijee Lifestyle Pvt Ltd was setup in 1964 with its hand printing and dyeing factory in Dombivli, Maharashtra and has over the years transformed into the most innovative textile company with latest technology, plant and equipment apart from a highly qualified team to ensure high quality products with short lead times to market. The company is involved in weaving, dyeing,printing, embroidery and garmenting. It is an ISO 9001-2007 certified company.

Says Devendra Vijay Wargiya, President of Shrijee Lifestyle: “We are a vertically integrated unit. We started printing in 1967, and earlier we had traditional,and hand-printed printing. With the advances in technology, we have invested a lot in modern equipment and knowhows.

”Wargiya claims that Shrijee is today India’s largest digital printing company. “Our plants are located in Dombivli in Thane district of Maharashtra. The units are from weaving to complete garmenting. Weaving facility is in Miraj, and the printing, and garment facility are in Dombivli. Besides, we have a very modern dyeing unit in Dombivli,” says Wargiya.

In printing, Shrijee Lifestyle has made indelible impressions in the various markets in India and abroad.Says Wargiya: “ In rotary printing, we have a capacity to produce 100,000 meters per day. For rotary printing, we use a high-end Japanese machine, which is very expensive, but fast and can produce printing with superior finish. For digital, we have MS Lario, which is world’s fastest machine. Besides, we haveKonica Minolta machines also. In digital also, we have a capacity to produce 1,00,000 meters per day. We have emerged as one of the top-most digital printing companies in Asia.

”For garments, Shrijee boasts of 250 machines. “We have created a brand for shirting materials called Avant Moda. Now we have created high premium Avant Moda products for the home furnishing segment.

”Designing talent is one of the major factors behind Shrijee’s success in the markets. Says Wargiya: “We have 40 designers and we also have tied up with an Italian studio, which creates designs for us. This is a very strong point for us, and our modern, latest designs have won markets for us.

”Shrijee exports 50 per cent of its production.Says Wargiya: “We export a lot to the Middle East.We have an active market in South America. Vietnam,Germany and Bangladesh are the emerging markets for us now. We work through many channels for the domestic market. There are also fabric buyers who source from us and make garments and export successfully. We have business partners for promoting our brands.”
