The Indian textile industry has long been established as an important global player and has built up a commercially significant international market position over the decades. The task is now to improve this position and to strengthen it as more and more competitors set up in neighbouring marketplaces and the international markets, says Fritz Legler, Marketing Director of the Swiss-based Staubli.
At India ITME 2016 , visitors saw many products from the Stäubli textile machinery range and had an intensive discussion with its experts about their benefits. A Jacquard weaving installation demonstrated in operation whilst other products were seen on demonstration stands. Exhibits included cam motions and dobby machines, electronic Jacquard machines, and weaving preparation systems products.
The Stäubli brand Schönherr carpet systems showed a collection of exclusive carpet samples produced on ALPHA 500 series carpet-weaving machines at the booth, where complete information about the ALPHA 400 and 500 series available. Besides, state-of-art electronic control solutions for textile machines by DEIMO were also exhibited.
