After 56 years, Fadis of Italy is celebrating as the oldest company leader in the production of precision winder machines, still owned and run by the same family!

Fadis was founded in 1960 with the purpose of manufacturing textile machines such as rewinders, soft winders, assembly winders, hank to cone winders, reeling machines, spooling machines and intermingling machines, which are meant to process all types of yarns such as cotton, wool, silk, artificial fibres, synthetic fibres, mixed fibres, intermingled yarns, fancy yarns.

Fadis is present in more than 70 countries all over the world. The last generation of precision winding machines clearly shows the importance Fadis gives to innovation, R&D of new models, new products, new materials and new technologies. The 100 per cent Made in Italy production is synonymous with quality, innovation and safety, guaranteed by the National Register of Italian Manufacturers.

Fadis is the only company in the world to offer a complete line of machines specifically studied for preparing yarn for the following dyeing processes, be it in form of bobbin, hank or FAPP™/Muff. It also offers all the machines to wind the dyed yarn. To choose the Fadis cycle (from start to end) represents a great advantage: Fadis becomes the reference partner who can advise and personalise the machines that best fit the customer’s needs.

Fadis, the leader in elastomeric yarn covering line

Fadis offers – with its Sincro Sprint spooling machine – a ‘traditional’ yarn covering system.

This completely new concept of compact and efficient double-sided spooling machine is equipped with independent winding spindles with electronic yarn guide, precision crossing and motorised bobbin. Equipped with an ‘on-line’ tension control device, it was designed to reach high winding speeds and offers various advantages, such as versatility, choice, modification of all the parameters necessary to wind yarn on flanged bobbins.

Concerning the air covering system, Fadis was the first company worldwide to present this technology in 1987. Today, its Multipla Airjet model is considered the benchmark on the market.

The “Queen” version has been completely renovated for ITMA 2015. This Multipla Airjet model foresees the application of an electronic motorised unwinding device necessary to unwind an elastomeric yarn and to intermingle it through air with a textured yarn.

The computerised digital terminal on the control terminal allows to electronically control and vary the draw ratio, as well as all the other standard parameters. The “Tens Control™” technology, a unique and completely electronic system of ‘on-line’ tension control, constantly checks the tension of all the yarns during the intermingling process.

This version with its high level of technology will satisfy the most sophisticated production requirements and guarantee the formation of packages with perfectly stabilised yarn and excellent uniformity of both tension and intermingling.
