Based in Ahmedabad, Perfect Equipments Pvt Ltd manufactures a complete range of card maintenance machines and cot service machines, and offers a complete range of blow room machines, high production card, waste recycling lines, overhead travelling cleaner & surgical cotton plants, through its two group companies ? Perfect Equipments Private Limited (PEPL) & Perfect Engineering Corporation (PEC).

In an exclusive interaction with the Ahmedabad-based correspondent of ITJ team, Jayesh Mistry, Director of Perfect Equipments Pvt Ltd, provides a SWOT analysis of the Indian textile machinery industry, and company´s plans for ITMA 2015.

What do you think is the status of our textile machinery, parts & accessories industry a SWOT analysis from your side.
The Indian textile industry is quite large and well established. Textile machinery, parts & accessories industry has developed itself to a very large extend to meet all the needs of textile industry for domestic customers as well as exports. Full line of machines of latest technology as required for the spinning industry are available from domestic manufacturers. Big names like LMW, KTTM, Rieter, Trutzschler have well-established operations in India. New model with appropriate technology are introduced regularly to meet the expectations of the user spinning industry. These machines of latest technology give our spinning industry capability to produce yarn of high quality making India probably the largest exporter of yarn.

We are little weak on machines required for post spinning processes. But we expect that as weaving & processing industry become large & organised, machinery manufacturers will step in to produce machines of contemporary technologies. Textile industry will continue to grow and flourish in India providing enough opportunities to machinery manufacturers.

What are your company´s contribution (by way of technology & products) to the textile industry? And what are the plans for the future?
Perfect Group operates two companies: Perfect Equipments Private Limited (PEPL) & Perfect Engineering Corporation (PEC) – both based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

PEPL manufactures a complete range of card maintenance machines and cot service machines. Thanks to the trust and patronage from the industry, PEPL enjoys leadership position in this product category. We have introduced some machines which can be rightfully called as the ´Best & Most Productive´ available anywhere in the world. Automatic Cot Grinding Machine ACG 600 can grind 600 Rollers / Hour, making it the fastest machine in the world.

PEC manufactures complete range of blow room machines, high production card, waste recycling lines, overhead travelling cleaner & surgical cotton plants. We have recently introduced new card which is performing very well & meeting our customer´s expectations. We are confident that in near future we will be able to get acceptance from wider section of the spinning industry.

A very small percentage of textile waste – cotton, yarn & fabric – is at present recycled. Increasing awareness, sales price pressure & better utilisation of raw material will surely create many opportunities for recycling of textile waste. We expect textile industry to embrace this technology in a big way to improve its competitiveness & social obligation. We at PEC are in pole position to take advantage of new trend, offering complete range of machines for recycling of all types of textile waste. We have plans to add more machines to our portfolio to serve our customers even better.

How has your company been faring in the export markets for your machinery? And what are your expectations at the ITMA 2015 in Milan?
Very well. A large<
