This order has
been concluded with the major Chinese group Xinfengming in the run-up to the
ITMA Asia. The order includes total of eight complete staple fibre lines that
have 320 spinning positions that are used for the production of synthetic
staple fibres. It is said that the company will not only supply the technology
but will also take over the engineering of the production lines.

The capacity of
the order is 1800 t/d, which makes it the largest plant order to date in the
history of the company. The cotton-type staple fibres will be produced by the
eight two-step lines. The investment by the Xinfengming Group will help the
company to expand its product portfolio. The company has relied on Oerlikon Neumag as it is the world’s largest FDY
and POY polyester filament yarn producer.
