Confederation of Indian Textile Industry’s (CITI) Chairman, T Rajkumar thanked and appreciated the Central Government and State Governments for the efforts undertaken under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to contain and minimise the effects of unprecedented outbreak of deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19).

A new Secretary General has been chosen by Cematex, the European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers. Cornelia Buchwalder has served on an interim basis since June 2019, following the retirement of Maria Avery, and was elected to the permanent position by the Cematex Board on March 12.
