Dilo, which now has a complete range of cross-lapping machines, has introduced its new Dilo-Layer (EP patent pending) for the medium infeed speed range between 75 and 160 m/min. For higher speeds exceeding approx 160 m/min, Dilo offers the Hyperlayer.
The Dilo-Layer is a universal horizontal cross-lapper to be used in card/crosslapper installations for processing a wide range of staple fibres. The layering width can be adjusted between 1 m and 10 m in half metre steps. For the paper machine felt industry layering widths exceeding 10 m are available.
For many years, Dilo Systems has been a very successful partner for the nonwovens industry providing complete production lines, and has made numerous developments with an aim at increasing fibre throughput, improving web homogeneity and increasing efficiency have significantly contributed to this success. Dilo Systems has been able to complete their delivery programme for all production methods by building partnerships with companies specialising in up- and downstream technologies.
Dilo, the parent company, is the leading expert and specialist worldwide in the manufacturing of needle looms and offers for each needling task an optimum machine solution. Many inventions and new developments of the company have initiated technological steps, such as the 'DI-Loop' and 'DI-LOUR' technology, the tubular needling techniques 'Rontex' and 'Beltex'. The highlight among the new technologies continues to be 'Hyperpunch' with its positive effects for the web during needling.
Dilo is also the leader in technological innovations and the productivity of standard universal needle looms of the 'DI-LOOM' series with highest stroke frequencies of more than 3,000 per min and needle DUo's 'Hyperpunch' needle loom with CBP feeding system atb 2007-II for all densities of over 32,000 needle/m of working width. Dilo needle looms are renowned for their quality and reliability and a scope of working widths up to 16 m.Among engineering companies, Dilo Systems has achieved a leading position as a general contractor for the designing, installation and commissioning of complete lines. Dilo has been able to further strengthen its position by acquiring the majority share in the renowned Temafa GmbH in 2005. The sector opening and blending has now been integrated and project realisation has become more efficient. This step has finalised their delivery programme for lines from one supplier with one single responsibility.
