Nonwoven technology: By bringing together the brands of Neumag (Spunbond), J&M (Meltblown), M&J (Airlaid), Fehrer (Needlepunching and Airlay), Fincarde (Carding), Kortec (Festooning), and Autefa (Crossl-apping), Neumag is the industry’s first supplier for all major nonwoven processes.
Neumag offers its customers – besides the various single technologies —not only complete Spunbond, Airlaid and Carding production lines, but also the possibility of combining individual technologies for entering new markets in developing innovative nonwoven products and processes.
The production lines for carded nonwovens cover the complete production process from the bale opening via the carding (Fincarde), the crosslapping (Autefa), the needle punching (Fehrer), up to the winding for applications in fields like automotive, geo-textiles, needle felt carpets and filtration. Even the complete upstream process—the production of synthetic staple fibres—can be supplied by Neumag’s staple fibre technology.
BCF carpet yarn technology: With the S5, S3 and Variomelt BCF plants, Neumag offers a product portfolio in which the customer is certain to find the plant designed to meet its own individual needs.
It comprises the S5 modular plant system for manufacturing highly sophisticated BCF carpet yarn and the turnkey plants S3 (for monocolour) and Variomelt (for mono- and tricolour), both designed for smaller-scale production. All plants are definitely equipped with Neumag’s well-proven, three-ends-per-position technology. Synthetic staple fibre technology: Neumag’s product range of plants for the production of synthetic staple fibres varies from 2-step plants with production capacities from 10 tons/day speciality lines, up to 250 tons/day commodity jumbo lines to high flexible 1-step plants for smaller scale production.
Neumag’s 2-step staple fibre production lines are designed for highest quality requirements at minimum operation cost. The jumbo plants with capacities of up to 250 t/d guarantee high production yields under absolutely stable conditions for the production of high quality PET cotton type fibres.
Beyond this Neumag offers 2-step lines for the production of staple fibres with most different properties out of PET, PP, PA or bicomponent for a wide variety of applications like hygiene or medical products, geo-textiles or concrete reinforcements.
Neumag’s compact 1-step short spinning lines have an excellent flexibility with regard to the processable raw materials and titer range. These plants enable a highly economical production of fibres for a wide range of downstream processings, eg, carpets or geo-textiles. Autefa baling technology: Furthermore to staple fibre lines Neumag offers baling presses.
Packing of natural or man-made staple fibre and tow, as well as preparing those for storage and transport, is the core competence of Autefa Baling Technology. The state-of-the-art baling press generation achieves the highest throughpu
