Tradition meets digitalisation
The phenomenon of digitalisation and networking of the entire value chain – Industry 4.0 – is also gaining importance in the textile industry. H. Stoll AG & Co. KG, a long-established manufacturer of flat knitting machines based in Reutlingen, Germany, will present an innovative software tool for networking of machine parks with up to a thousand machines at the ITMA textile machinery show in mid-November.
Regina Brückner heads VDMA
With the election of Mrs Regina Brückner,, Managing Associate of Brückner Trockentechnik,, for the first time in its long history the VDMA Textile Machinery Association will be chaired by a woman. On the occasion of the members´ meeting of the Association in Lindau (Lake of Constance), the businesswoman from Leonberg (13 km West of Stuttgart) has been elected in place.
Andreas Schellhammer is Stoll CEO
Started 1 February 2014, Andreas Schellhammer took over the position of the representative of the management board (CEO). The executive board of H. Stoll GmbH & Co. KG will therefore be exercised as from February 2014 by Andreas Schellhammer, Ralf Fritschi, Gnnter J. Raitbaur and Dr Sven Wnnsche.
