Maharashtra to set up garment park in Solapur
The Maharashtra Government plans to set up a garment park with an investment of Rs 300 crore at Solapur, which is considered the textile hub of Maharashtra. Rajasthan emerges as textile hub
Rajasthan has emerged as a pre-eminent hub for the domestic textile industry with a presence across the entire value addition chain from spinning to garments. About 30 MoUs worth Rs 8,500 crore were signed for the textile sector, of which 12 projects have started production while 12 projects are under construction and three projects are under various stages of clearance.
