Simple steps to save energy
In the textile industry, appreciable amounts of energy could be saved or conserved by regulating the temperature in the steam pipes, adjusting the air/fuel ratio in the boilers, and installing heat exchangers using warm waste water, says Dr P Senthilkumar. The conservation of energy is an essential step towards overcoming the mounting problems of the worldwide energy crisis and environmental degradation.
