The tenth biannual Design Prize Switzerland was held recently. From over 300 entries and 36 nominated projects, the eight-member international jury selected six winners in different categories. The competition with total prize money of CHF 195,000 attracts domestic and foreign designers with a relation to Switzerland.
The 9th International Conference on Geosynthetics of the IGS (9ICG), the primary international geosynthetics event, held every four years, will be held for the first time in the Southern Hemisphere from 23 to 27 May 2010 in the city of Guarujá, which is about 90 km from Săo Paulo, the largest city in Brazil.
